I've got a web site built with some user accounts.. And the aspnetdb.mdf was created in
the app_data folder
And then I also created a web service and when I access the database, it cannot access
the Membership information, I looked the hard drive, and found out that there are 3 copies
of aspnetdb.mdf residing on my hard drive. One copy located at the SQL Server Express Directory
and one copy at my web site directory, one at the web service directory, How can I safely merge these
user accounts into one? And Also avoiding in practical ways to create different sets of users in different applications?
Is creating users only within SQL Server Management Studio the safest way?

These are all depends on your config connections whether app.config/web.config. You need to somehow converge and make a permanent databse after you move/eliminate the multiple copies of your aspnetdb.
Hope this helps.
