When I start an MVC project, some sample code gets generated which, when run, generates some tables for authentication/authorization. One of them, UserProfile, I can get at using EntityFramework but the others seem to use members of the Controller class
(ex. Membership, Roles) or WebSecurity class methods. Since these are data-access functions I want to be able to use them within my data-access library. The project type is class library and so it has no Controller's. Is there any way to access these tables,
using the framework classes that were built for that purpose, from within a library?

So far as I know, you can try the code below:
provider.Initialize("name of provider", [a NameValueCollection that contains the properties]);
For more information, please refer to the link below:
Hope it's useful for you.
