VS 2008, Vb.Net
Why is it I can trace an Ip address and see the web.config file on the server?
What am I doing wrong?
When I move a site to our production server, should I not be moving the web.config file too?
I tried removing it and of course I got errors when I tried to bring up the application. So what should be done? Especially since I use it to store alias variables.

The Web.config provides a central point of control for those few, but critical, items that change between the development/test environment and the production environment. Of course, it also means that if you deploy your Web.config file incorrectly, your
production system ends up updating your development database and running in debug mode. So you need to move your web.config file into your product server.
