I have now been successful in making the C version of the "stock ticker" work on my machine with the latest update of Visual Studio 2013. It took some help from you folks that knew SignalR and C as the NuGet example didn't quite work out of the box and
I am a VB programmer.
I have many VB.net applications developed that really need to be migrated to a real-time online interface and SignalR seems to be PERFECT for this. I simply cannot spend days and days trying to making SignalR work with VB I've already spent too much time
on it. I have found a few posts about converting the C code to VB code using a source code converter and I've tried that, but this is way too complicated a task for a simple code converter it seems.
I'm reaching out to SignalR users to compile a simple "Stock Ticker" like project that I can start with. I see a lot of other hits on the web for this but as of yet, I haven't found anyone able/willing to do it as a whole project?? Should be just as
quick as building the C version for someone that knows SignalR and VB one would think.
Please help us VB guys...
