I am trying to develop an SSO Portal using Thinktecture Identity Server V2. I am very new to Claims based authentication and authorization. I have few questions.
1. Web site project that comes with Thinktecture, should I use it for only admin interface and build a separate portal for actual SSO implementation? I do not want regular users to see any options/links other than login screen.
2. My user sources are three different active directories which will be accessed via a web service. To build a new SSO portal where should I start. any pointers will be really helpful.
Thanks in advance.

If you are early in your development, and if you are talking about HTTP-based (REST) web services, then you might want to consider IdentityServer v3 (not v2):
v2 is stable and will be maintained if new issues arise, but no new work will be performed on it. You can also ask your questions about v3 (or v2) on the appropriate issue tracker on github.

Thank you Allen. I will take a look at V3. one question, do you recommend writing REST service and a portal for single sign-on or just a portal very much similar to the web side included in the V2 of the identity server.

I don't understand the question.

Sorry for my poor framing. I think I better do some study on V3 and come back with right set of questions. Thank you for your help.
