I implemented the below query but it gave me error as:-
*Cannot open backup device 'D:\bakup.bak'. Operating system error 21(The device is not ready.). Msg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally. *
BACKUP DATABASE Test TO DISK='D:\bakup.bak'

Does the SQL server have a D drive?
Here's another doc on doing a TSQL backup that might be of help.

You can't very well do a backup if you do not know where to back up the files.
Do you need to do a complete DB backup or just back up a few tables?

I know how to take backup for few tables,
I want it for full database

The error most likely means there's no D drive but there's no way for anyone on the forum to verify. Contact your SQL admin for assistance.

Some more context could help. If this is a host service don't they have some guidance about making (even scheduling maybe?) database backups? Usually the backup should more likely be automated rather than part of a manual on demand operation in your own
You can use any location which is reachable from this server and using the SQL Server account but we don't know anything about this server and which drives or network locations are available.

I took the backup where my server machine was installed and from their I brought it to my machine.
Anyways thanks. Now I got it. :)
