Ok, I've wasted enough time trying to get MS Web Developer 2010 website published onto GoDaddy shared server. I have the website made and looking for someone to get it to work on the GoDaddy server. I know it's in the "web config" file and I've tried a bunch
of different scripts over the past 3 weeks with nothing working.
The website works on my PC and/or local server I just can't get it uploaded & working on GoDaddy and looking for someone with the knowledge to finish up the project programing it so I can complete the website designing.
If you're interested shoot me an email to: RBreault@aol.com with GoDaddy Config in the subject like and we'll discuss a price

What is the problem, not able to upload, or not working? If it's the second one then you should set the custom errors to OFF (in the web.config) and to see the error details.

What is the error message that you see? Any error message? Have you check your connection string again?

1) Make sure you set correct ASP.NET version on your GoDaddy website:
2) Create a simple test.html page - make sure you can see it
3) Create simpliest version of your web.config - and access a ASP.NET page that does not use SQL.
4) If all that is working - resolve the SQL connectivity, you may need to access GoDaddy SQL server by IP address from your web.config.
-Let me know if that helps

I am very curious to know the outcome of your issue. I have found myself quite disappointed in GoDaddy and their "Control Panels."

The outcome of what issue? The issue "nothing working" is really a good one
