you would require to understand what roles you need to provide to difference members. Then, open the Sql Server Management Studio and connect with the sql server instance, on the left hand side go to Security node » Logins. There you will see all the members/users/logins
available. Right click on any one » Select Properties. This will open a dialog window, where on the left hand side you need to select «User Mapping» option. On clicking of it, you will see all databases list on top and available roles list in bottom. Just
select the database and role you wanted to assign to that user for the selected database. And you are done!
