I am having trouble connecting to my SignalR hub in production. When running in Visual Studio debug, my client has no trouble connecting.
My environment is an IIS 8 server with a single application named "Default Web Site" whose path is
. My client is a separate C# application that uses the SignalR client API, connecting as follows:
_controllerHub = new HubConnection("https://myserver.com/");
_hubProxy = _controllerHub.CreateHubProxy("MyHub");
Reading through the documentation, I map SignalR as follows:
public partial class Startup
public void Configuration(IAppBuilder app)
I have seen others with the 404 error that have problems using virtual directories (which I don't think apply in my case), and 404 when there are multiple applications on their IIS server (which I think I only have one). Therefore, I'm a little confused about how to address this problem. I do have RAMMFAR set.
