i'am using identity framework 2 and implemented a custom user store to get users etc. In our existing database we have stored some other kind of user data, which is needed if the the user requests it. To get this data we must implement some custom methods
to fetch this data from the user database.
My question is: what is the Best practice to do this? Should we extend the ApplicationUserManager with some functions and implement another store to fetch the additional data or should we extend our UserStore class with new functions?

So far as I know, if you want to get data from existing DataBase, you can configure the connectionstring in the web.config file. As you want to get some Data from the DataBase, you can open the connectionstring to get data.
