I have a web application that has a class file with a constant variable. When a user clicks a button the value of the constant gets saved to a table in a database. I updated the value in the constant and updated the class file on the web server. The user
clicked the button again and the old value was still saved to the table. Is that because IIS wasn't restarted or the web.config file wasn't opened and closed.

a constant is a named variable and, like a literal, a constant can not be changed
When you use a
