Am created a small software in Windows .Net and am using centralized server(database) as godaddy server. If we insert some records to centralized server whether we need SSL.
My code is below.
SqlConnection con = new SqlConnection("Server=188.8.131.52,5896;Database=testdb;Uid=xxx;Pwd=yyyy");con.open();
SqlBulkCopy sqlBulk = new SqlBulkCopy(con);
sqlBulk.DestinationTableName = "testtbl";
I subscribed 1year SSL certificate for my centralized godaddy server. But it's mainly used to secure the domain and subdomain names so how could I secure the data transmission using SSL from Windows.Net code(windows form - software) not a web page or web
Could anyone help me to move further.
Thanks in Advance

A specialized SQL forum at
https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home would be likely better as it seems much more related to SQL Server itself rather than about using SQL Server from ASP.NET.
