I am integrating 2 applications one a asp.net web appln [ frmwork-4.0] another sharepoint site. i am sending query strings from and to my asp.net web appln and sharepoint.
and i want to kno what are the ways to retrieve the error messages within sharepoint env. when the kind of errors/exceptions happened in the asp.net .
currently i am passing query strings from asp.net to sharepoint and vice verse. But if some exception throws in asp.net env how can i show a meaningful message to the end user and log the full exception internally.
has anyone done this earler- exception handling when two applications were integrated.
help is appreciated!

I heard about the excep.block and logging block. i am not using those cur
but how can I handle the exceptions and pass it to asp.net from sharepoint and vice versa.
Assume, i am using query strings for passing values from sharepoint to asp.net and asp.net receives this.
