Without getting into too much detail. I am trying to setup a single asp.net solution that has a process running full time running behind the scenes. I'd really like the front end of this application to be in ASP.NET MVC, but behind the scenes there is
a game-like process, constantly looping, taking multiple real time input from multiple sources and spitting out results in real time. Is this even possible?
Let's use Fabrikam Fiber Call Center for example :) The DAL has interfaces set up for FabrikamFiber.Web. The DAL however is not a process, none of the projects that the FibrikamFiber.Web interfaces with, has a looping process coded inside. I stumbled
across SignalR and it sounded like this might be a solution. This is something I have never explored before, and I just want to get started on the right track! Please help.

Second stab at this -->
Can SignalR applications have a process that runs inside of them on a constant loop, that takes input/outputs for ASP.NET MVC? If so, what kind of inputs are possible? (text, objects, image, video, audio, actual signals(medical engineering type signals)

Thank you post the issue to our forum.
You can host the signalR application in the IIS server, console application, windows service. If to be host, you can
For more information, I think you should take a look at it's tutorials below:
