I am using .net framework 4.0
My form is having some huge amount of unsaved data. I need to create a new xml file and save all these fields in to that file on closing event of the form.(that is saving the unsaved data in to an xml fie in the client machine).
And i need to reload all these filed values from the xml file to the form when that user loads it.
Pls advise me with ideas.
Thanks in advance

You can't create files on the client system, or read them, so the only way you'll be able to do this is with some client-side technology like ActiveX or java. Or you could re-design your forms so that they don't have this issue, or you can use ajax to periodically
save the data to the server. But the original idea you had about files on the client isn't really going to work.
