but could not add my solution, henc this new thread.
The installation center option chosen in the above mentioned thread to 'add feature to existing instance' does not work, but if fresh instance is chosen, then in the features list shows Management Tools -Basic , which is what is required. But when choosing to add feature, management tools does not show up in features list, and the available options are disabled and already selected as mentioned in the said thread. Hope this helps. :)
