I am developed a web application in ASP.Net and in a page it read data from MS Excel. it is fine in my development environment.
But in IIS it not working because of permission issues.
Then i changed to, DCOMCNFG->My Computer->COM SecuritiesAccess Permissions, launch and Activation Permissions and DCOM Config - Microsoft Excel Application -> Properties-> Identity - "The interactive user."
Now it is working fine. My Issue is; I need to upload this application to live server. but how can I configure DCOMCNFG in server? I have FTP and CPannel Access (only).
Thanks in advance.

Doing so is pointless as your server won't have an interactive user (the person logged on to the OS) so would still fail. This is assuming that Office is even installed on your server, which is almost certainly won't be. Automating Office via asp.net is
not supported and almost never works anyway, you're better off finding a solution that doesn't involve Office such as Aspose, or Open XML. Basic Excel things can even be done via the Excel ODBC driver.
