I think your business or DAL is behind the service. To put the breakpoint check if the DAL is complied in debugging mode. Put some log into the DAL method to ensure code with breakpoint is actually executting.

//bizActionVO.DischargeDetails.PatientID = patientDetails.PatientID;
//bizActionVO.DischargeDetails.PatientUnitID = patientDetails.UnitId;
BizActionObj.DischargeDetails = new clsIPDDischargeVO();
BizActionObj.DischargeList = new List<clsIPDDischargeVO>();
Uri address = new Uri(Application.Current.Host.Source, "../PalashDynamics.svc");
PalashServiceClient client = new PalashServiceClient("CustomBinding_IPalashService", address.AbsoluteUri);
client.ProcessCompleted += (s, args) =>
if (args.Error == null && args.Result != null)
BizActionObj.DischargeList = (((clsGetDischargeStatusBizActionVO)args.Result).DischargeList);
if (BizActionObj.DischargeList.Count > 0)
dgEmployeeDischarge.ItemsSource = null;
dgEmployeeDischarge.ItemsSource = MasterList;
dgEmployeeDischarge.SelectedIndex = -1;
dgDischargeAdviceConfirmedDataPager.Source = null;
dgDischargeAdviceConfirmedDataPager.PageSize = Convert.ToInt32(BizActionObj.MaximumRows);
//dgDischargeAdviceConfirmedDataPager.Source = DischargeDetails;

It is depends on how you have referenced DAL layer objects to UI. are your referencing release version of dll's or direct project reference?

I am using direct project Reference and even i had check in some other projects but there is also same issue occures...

Try running the code in debug mode, some times it happens that code is compiled in release mode and at that time breakpoint is not coming into access even though you might have added there.

Is your DAL running on your local machine or some remote server?

There is a list you can check yourself, why it is not hit.
