The Community Spotlight page http://www.asp.net/community/spotlight on this site includes the text "Highlighting a new post about ASP.NET development every day", yet often no new articles are posted for
an entire week, and then suddenly one day there are 5 new articles, each dated not the day they are appearing, but as if they had appeared on different days the previous week. I'm sure this isn't a caching issue on my side, as I see it from different devices,
clearing cache each day to be sure I'm not just missing something.
My suggestion/feedback for the site is that the text "Highlighting a new post about ASP.NET development every day" be revised to "Highlighting a new post about ASP.NET development every week", and stop pretending there is a new article each day, rather than
five new articles all posted on the same day each week.

There is actually a new article each day, but the job that processes them seems to stall every so often. I'm not quite sure whether the "job" is automated or human. It's currently a week behind which I agree is not very impressive.

Thanks for the explanation/clarification. Are you in a position to be able to ask whoever provides technical support for the site itself to fix whatever is causing the stall? Or does someone from that team periodically read these "Feedback on this website"

Someone from the management team looks in occasionally, it is alleged.

As Mike indicates, the issue is human, not technical. There are multiple reasons why there can be delays, but we do post 5 new items every week, albeit with delays on occasion.

Thanks for the followup. Since the delays are fairly frequent, would you be willing to change the posting dates so they reflect when the items are actually posted? rather than having them deceptively dated as if they did post on separate days? and also
edit the text that suggests there's a new post every day, to better reflect that it's really on weekly basis (for the most part), rather than daily. In fact, we have a case in point right now. The most recent post was last Wednesday :)

We can consider your suggestions.

Thanks! I appreciate the quick responses. It's a great site, and I very much appreciate all the work that goes into it.

It's me - the spotlights are my responsibiliy. Unfortunately, sometimes I travel, speak at conferences, etc., and don't keep up. I'm looking into ways I can get some other people involved so I'm not the bottleneck.
