We just installed Oracle client and reader on a web server (ODT with ODAC). After the installation compeleted a message said to:
"Run the SQL scripts located in C:\app\.... for a new installation or an upgrade of Orcale Providers for ASP.Net"
How do I go about running these scripts? Don't I need some kind of SQL tool to do this, like SQLDeveloper installed on server?

The purpose for the oracle install was so the program could connect using the :
I have not run the scripts....I don't know if I need to? The program appears to be working correctly.
I did find this too:
"You only need to run those scripts if you're actually going to use the ASP.NET providers (role, membership, etc).
If you just want to use ODP.NET or the Oracle Developer Tools, you dont need to worry about them."
I'm not really sure if this applies to me or not. Is the ODT and ODAC the same as ODP.Net....does anyone know?
