On MVC5, we can just turn on SSL for the application easily by setting SSL to true on VS under Project's Property.
Publishing it to Azure and the site will then be using SSL.
For SPA, there isn't such option on VS. Any guideline for this?

Each SPA is hosted in a standard HTML Page. It is enough to require SSL on that page (which you can do with the standard techniques you mentioned) to enable SSL on the whole SPA.

actually this depends on IIS,how you have configured the website. if you have enabled SSL at web site level then individual SPA pages will use that.

Here's an example how you could setup your IIS
You can then configure your SPA to use this in DEBUG mode.
