I am facing some problems in installing vs 2013 in my system. problem is with installing .net framework 4.5.1. so i search "MVC5 for vs 2012" and i got a link
The doubt i have is if i install this, will it affect the older development environment? already i have so many extensions installed with my VS 2012(purchased version).
Pls anyone clarify my doubt and shall i go for installing this?

Thanks for your feedback.
will it affect the older development environment?
First we can install Visual Studio 2012 and Visual Studio 2013 side by side, if you install .net framework 4.5.1 on your side, I don't think it will affect the older development environment. For .net framework 4.5.1, if we develop our application using previous
.net framework version, such as .net 4.0, etc, it will work fine in .net framework 4.5, because it has backward-compatibility. At the same time we can also choose our .net framework version in Visual Studio.

thanks for your rly. am facing problem in installing .net Framework 4.5.1. shows some error HRESULT:0x80240017. So i can't to install VS2013.
and i Installed Web tools VS 2013.1 for VS 2012. It added template "MVC5 Empty application". but i cannot add Scaffolding to that project. it just creates an empty project without the default MVC folders. I refered frome here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/webdev/archive/2013/11/18/announcing-release-of-asp-net-and-web-tools-2013-1-for-visual-studio-2012.aspx
