I started developing a website (online test) using the vs 2013 mvc5/ bootstrap3 template, i learned basic use of mvc5 / bootstrap3 / c# (came from asp.net webforms / vb).
It might be wiser to use a CMS instread of developing everything myself, i found the following CMS es, Orchard (there is a bootstrap theme for it) and Umbraco.
Does anyone has experiences with these or another CMS.
- a Visual Studio 2013 project C#
- MVC 5 / bootstrap 3
- not too much overhead
- open source , free to use
- optional able to publish in Azure
Thanks for your response!

likely I'm biased as I gave presentations about Orchard CMS in the past and wrote a hands on guide for Microsoft about it as well (http://www.krisvandermast.com/downloads.html) and did a tutorial
on how to deploy it on Azure (http://blog.krisvandermast.com/HowToSetupOrchardCMSOnWindowsAzureWebSitesWithAWindowsAzureSQLDatabase.aspx)
but I would opt for that.
At the moment I don't think they already upgraded to MVC5 though, haven't checked in a while so it could be the case.
Their forums are good and there's an active community behind it.
