I've a very simple test solution in VS2010 to show a Report within an aspx page and I'm using Crystal Reports. The report displays with no problem and when I click the print or the export button (located in the toolbox), the pop window asking the exporting
format (in case of exporting) and the amount of pages to print (in case of printing) also displays properly, but when I click in the final Export or print button, the whole page refresh automatically but the report is not being exported or printed.
I've searched in a lot of forums but most of people have different errors. I don't know what else can I do in order to solve this.
Thanks for your help!
P.D.: I've also tried in IE(All versions), Firefox and Chrome.

When you try to export the report into other formats like PDF etc, it simply downloads the same format of the report, please check the settings if download is allowed or not, may be some sort of this.
Are you able to print from your machine? Any other document?
As when printing is done, a Javscruipt is called, may be that is creating some issue, if normal print works.

Hello, thanks for your reply!
I know that the only thing CrystalReportViewer does after clicking in the final Export or Print button is downloading the file in the specified format. I tried with an online report and the exporting function worked fine! (visit
On the other hand, I checked all the CrystalReportViewer properties and didn't find any "AllowDownload" or similar property. Could you please tell me which property is?
Answering to your second question: Yes, I'm able to print and export other documents.
Answering your JS question: I couldn't find the exact JS function or file where the export or print action is been called. I tried debugging the webapp with the built-in IE 10 debugger, but it creates a lot of dynamic scripts and is impossible to find out
the correct one.
I'm really frustated with this and I'm almost sure there's a little thing I'm doing wrong...
