Warning 1 C:\Users\Don\Documents\Visual Studio 2013\Projects\WebApplication1\WebApplication1\Default.aspx: ASP.NET runtime error: There was no endpoint listening at net.pipe://localhost/ace138c4-8ab3-4d4e-8432-368480300c09/CBMOutOfProcService that could
accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details. C:\Users\Don\Documents\Visual Studio 2013\Projects\WebApplication1\WebApplication1\Default.aspx 1 1 WebApplication1
It occurs after I create a new web pages app, and then go to pull up default.aspx - the first line is highlighted with the above error message. Any ideas ? My VS2010 is and has been fine, my VS2012 - installed (and removed and reinstalled many times in
the last several days) shows the same error.
Any ideas ?

Have you tried running Visual Studio as an Administrator (Right-click > Run as Administrator)? You may also want to ensure that you have restarted your machine since installing as well.
Are you sure that you have set up your Web Service properly (assuming you are using one based on your error message)? You might also check to see if your "Net.Pipe Listener Adapter" Service is running under your Services on your local machine
(Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services) :

I ran it as administrator - and all appears to be good. GOing to go back and retry 2012 as well. Thanks so much, Rion.

2012 runs fine now as long as I "run as administrator". So the problems were caused by permission type issues - which "run as administrator" let me get around?
