I came across this article on MSDN when looking into the names of classes that were inheriting and classes that were inherited:
It looks like really really old article that applies more to Java language. But I am curious about the different terms people use when discussing classes in C# that are either inheriting or inherited. I am familiar with base/derived parent/child and was
wondering whether or not super/sub was another acceptable alternative for the terminology. Are all these terms interchangable. Are there other sets that are acceptable as well?

In fact, this article in MSDN is for J++ language but not applicable for C#.
