In the mobile web application development, if I develope a mobile web application in ASP.NET Using MVC and then run the application in the Handheld Device.
After that I scan any bar code from the Motorola Handheld device like MC3190 or any
wearable WT with Focus on Text Box then :
1. To enable the bar code scanner , Would I need to integrate the BarCode SDK with the mobile web application. If yes then How we will integrate like in which event?
My Assumption: I think it would be must If I will develope a window based mobile application. Barcode scanning should be automatically work in case of web application in any device or browser. Please confirm and advice.
Thanks In Advance !

I don't think you can get access to the camera for barcode scanning from a web app.
You would need a native app for this.

Hi, I agree for accessing camera I will need native app. But in the motorola handheld devices we are having the scanning gun there is no camera. So I think it should work just like the normal keyboard. and if it behvae just like keyboard then it should
scan. What are your opinion and what do you think please suggest.

That device is already a reader and the scanning process should act as you were typing a keyboard. You should not need to implement anything to get it working.

Hello there, I am also trying to create an app for Motorola MC3190 scanning device. I was wondering if it worked for you, without having to trigger the scan event in order to display the scanned barcode number in the textbox when you push the scan button
already on the device? Please let me know as I am also very new to this.
