The reason is because we would have to moderate attachments to ensure they don't contain any illegal or copyrighted media including but not limited to programs, music, pictures, etc. The moderation staff figures if you have to share something, you can share
a link via skydrive or other mediums.

Click on their screen name, go to their profile, click Send Private Message along the right hand side.

Private message is more like a system email as it only appears to them in their system mailbox.
