I’m currently trying to learn web services and I’ve never done anything with them before so please be gentle with me.
I have created a new empty asp.net website and added the following web service references
What I am trying to achieve here is to consume the above web services in order to display the city and weather information based on a selected continent and country. In my results I want to display
Now I have created a web form and added a label that says Please select a continent and a dropdown list which is bound to the
http://www.ezzylearning.com/services/CountryInformationService.asmx and it dynamically populates the dropdown list fine.
My question is how would I dynamically generate another dropdown list based on the users selection? For example if the user selects Europe as the continent then the second dropdown list dynamically fills with all the countries in Europe. Once I have worked
this out I will repeat the steps for generating the third dropdown list with all the cities. Then once I have done that I want to consume the
http://www.webservicex.net/globalweather.asmx to display the current weather based on the users choice.
Is my thinking correct here or am I talking nonsense?
Any feedback or help would be gratefully appreciated
Thanks in advance

Instead of explaining each step it is easier to see a sample exactly what you are looking for. If you google cascading dropdowns you will see a lot of examples but try this one.
Web Service option :
There are also other ways to do this; web.api, jquery, etc.
