Front-End: ASP.Net 4.0 C#
I am currently using ODBC to connect to MySql Database. I've learned that "Performance is a big negative factor for ODBC as it involves too many layers".
Is there any other way to connect to MySQL?

You can use the MySQL Connector for ADO.NET: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/
If you want everything on Windows (includes the Connector plus the SQL Workbench, Visual Studio integration, etc.), get the MySQL Installer for Windows: http://dev.mysql.com/tech-resources/articles/mysql-installer-for-windows.html

Thanks Darrell for Resolving my query!!
Reading its way to connect MySQL(Documentation) http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/connector-net-tutorials-intro.html,
it seems like establishing ADO.Net style connection to MySQL.
