I can't access to my profile on www.asp.net site using Microsot Live email id "email@example.com". I can successfully login to other Microsoft service sites with my registered email id (firstname.lastname@example.org).
My Profile URL: http://forums.asp.net/members/abhimanyu%20kumar%20vatsa.aspx
I noticed this last month. I tried every possible way to get access, no luck, I am trying it everyday but :( It always redirects me on this page (image attached), and when I enter username to access it says "Account could not be created. Error: The E-mail
address is already in use.".
Error suggests, 'email id is already in use' then I should be able to login this site in normal way, I can use Microsoft's other sites including MSDN Subscriptions without issue. I tried this page also https://login.asp.net/login/linkaccounts.aspx
Even when I'm trying to access directly from following page (image blow), nothing happens, it also redirects me on above page (look at the image).
If any asp.net site management team here, please look at this issue? Or suggest me way to fix it.
My registered email id with asp.net site is 'email@example.com'. I am posting this thread using my very-very older account (almost dead) associated with my yahoo id "firstname.lastname@example.org'. Please do something and bring my 'email@example.com' account back
I tried by clearing cookies and browser cache and also tried other browsers, mobile browsers but no luck.

It's best to report issues like this via the site's Contact Us page (http://www.asp.net/contact-us), so that you don't need to expose your email address.
Your ASP.NET website account was associated with a different email. We've now made an update to your data. Could you attempt to log in with that preferred Live ID (Microsoft account)?

Thank you tmorton, I can login now and you can see it :)
Actually I used sites "Contact Us" page on 19th Nov and reported the issue in MVP Private section (insted of posting issue in MVP private mailing list or in the forum) [http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mvp_priv/forum/mvp_general/i-cant-access-httpwwwaspnet-site/fe7b12d2-33b3-4310-86b3-59c6c6d843f4]
no any reply, thats why finnally decided to post it here. Thanks a million for resolving this issue.

Glad it is sorted!
I am sorry that we missed your original ticket. It seems that the ticketing system may have flagged your ticket as spam, as I don't see it at all. That date also falls into the short period where we had issues with the mail server. I also see a non-delivery
of a message to your email address on 10/28 regarding Articles of the Day.
When you have the opportunity, could you please use the Contact Us form again as a test, so that I can be sure that we will receive and be able to reply to any tickets you submit?
