I am using VS2008 SP1, professional, 9.0.30729.1.
I use Ajax Toolkit 3.5 and componentart ajax 2011.1.1134.35
In one page I am working on, I just added a componentart chart. I suspect the chart is causing the problem but the chart does work indeed, and there was no problem to open the website (and the page) in vs.
It happened when I added another componentart grid (copied from an existing grid on the same page) to the page, at the beginning it seems ok in the design, but I soon decided it would be too heavy for the page to get load so I deleted it right away.
And the VS starts to hang there forever.
I have to kill the process and then restart it, but it will hang there again if I try to open the particular page.
Here is what I found in eventlog:
The program devenv.exe version 9.0.30729.1 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.
What's going on there? How do I fix the problem while still using the page's original design with a chart and grid?
Thanks. Any clue would be appreciated. I will also ask componentart as I doubt their product causes the problem.

While searching for possible solution I came across this article from Microsoft:
There I am asked to download a hotfix and the article includes the link there:
To download this hotfix from the MSDN Code Gallery, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
However when I click on the link, it first prompted an error:
An error occurred while processing your request.
When I tried to click the link again and it shows some content and provides a link to download, I clicked on the link, it prompted an agreement windows and I click on accept to continue, and I was kicked out by the same error above.

I share that in
On the other hand, please repair your vs.
If there are errors in the Event Viewer, please provide it.
