Dear www.ASP.net Developers --
Your site is awesome.
To make it even better, please consider avoiding horizontal scrollbars for 1152 screen width.
For example, I am using Chrome Version 30.0.1599.101, on Windows 7, on a laptop running at 1152x864 resolution, and there is a horizontal scrollbar for this site.
It looks like the "signed in as" in the header is pushing it out and causing the scrollbar to appear, and there seems to be plenty of room for those to simply auto-move left, etc.
It happens on at least the home-page and on the write-new-post page.
Regardless, the site is great as-is, and the content is world-class.

It's probably due to the fact that the minimum width setting for the content is actually 1180px, which would explain why you are encountering these issues :
The site was probably designed to target the much more common 1240x768 resolution as a standard size and thus the resolution you mention falls just below that. I wouldn't doubt that you would experience this issue on several different websites that may be
designed targeting that same resolution.

Yes, maybe, but a better solution would be an adaptive solution (device agnostic), like Bootstrap or Foundation, etc, etc-- IMHO-- WordPress has this done for years.

I agree (regarding the Responsive Design aspect).
These forums have always been very adept at answering concerns from the community and issues regarding usability can be pretty high on those lists. I'm sure someone from Neudesic or the Moderation team will elaborate on this issue soon.

Thanks for the report. Yes, as Rion has pointed this out this site is optimized for 1280 x 768 (and larger), and we also have media queries that kick in when the width is below 480. We do see a design revamp with a mobile-first approach (such as Bootstrap)
in our future, but we are a long ways out for that.

Also, I have logged a bug and we'll take a look at this and work to get that header area appearing consistently so that it's not truncated or scrolling at 1152.
