Although I'm an experienced user of Visual Studio I'm relatively new to web services. I have my eyes set on OData for web services and WP data communications.
I planned to start by creating an IIS hosted WCF Data Service that connects to a SQL Server database using Entity Framework.
I've tried using the Visual Express Studio for the Web versions 2012 and 2013.
None of these versions present the option to add "WCF Data Service" to a project! Only "WCF Service", "WCF Service (Ajax-enabled)" and "Silverlight-enabled WCF Service" are presented as WCF options.
Does anyone know how I can add "WCF Data Service" to a project?

Well ... as sometimes happens ... taking a break and coming back again I found the solution.
I needed to locate and download "WCF Data Services 5.6.0 RTM Tools Installer". See
