changed. I'm using ASP hidden fields to do that. Fine and good. When the user clicks CANCEL while on a specific tab, the font color is supposed to return to black. Further, the hidden field I'm using to track that tab's font color has to be reset as well.
I have code in the cs codebehind to do that. All works as it should.
NOW.... once CANCELED (and the font changed back to black and the hidden var's value changed to reflect that in the active tab), if I tab out, and then back in, the "changed" color (blue in this case) is restored to the perviously cancelled tab. Further,
the hidden field's value is set back to reflect the blue color as well. And yet, I can insert a breakpoint at the codebehind and watch the values change.
I am flat out of ideas as to why the hidden field is resetting. Any ideas out there? I'd sure appreciate it. I'm completely stumped.
hidden field is set to "0". The cs code looks to see what the value of the ActiveTab's associated hidden field is onActiveTabChange, and if the hidden field is a "1", the text is set back to blue. If "0", it's set to black.
It's the hidden field values that are "resetting" back to "1" for whatever reason. When the font color logic checks them, they're always "1" even after having been changed back to "0".

for an active tab. The actual Page_Load event doesn't do anything with the values at all.
