I upgraded to Visual Studio 2013 over the weekend. I'm already not satisfied. Opening a Web that I was working on last week and I see that credentials to my ASPNetDB aren't being passed. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, do you have a solution?

Further playing I see that User.Identity.Name.ToString() returns "". I've never encountered this problem. What would cause this to start happening now?

It would point at "Anonymous access" being enabled. Select the project in the solution explorer and press F4 to show it's properties. Disable Anonymous access and enable "Windows authentication" (if this is what you want).
VS 2013 uses IIS Express rather than the VS web development server that you were perhaps still using until now...

Turning Anonymous off produces a HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized error.
