Hi, i am trying to export multiple grids to excel, but the problem is the first grid has 5 columns, the second grid has only 2 two columns, in which 2 column has col-sapn=4, so that in html both the grid looks as same width. but in excel the second grid,
second column has the same width of the first grid second column even though it's col-span=4.
actually i am rendering all the requried controls html to string writer, after inserting my custom scripts i am rendering the final html to excel.
please share your suggestions to avoid this problem. i want to have the second grid second column width with a col-span=4 as it appears in html.

I've used a packaged called "ClosedXML" from codeplex (http://closedxml.codeplex.com/documentation) for creating downloadable EXCEL files for my web apps. It has some table formating capability,
as I remember.
