I have a demo project for my lib that uses SignalR. It wont work with 2.0 I get
This operation requires IIS integrated pipeline mode.
Is this exptected, or a problem on my side?

http://www.asp.net/signalr/overview/getting-started/supported-platforms is not really explicit but given that IIS Express is required for WebSockets and that the VS development web
server is dropped starting with VS 2013, your best bet is likely to start switching to IIS Express on your dev boxes. Or do you have some strong reason to stick with the VS dev server ?

Not really, its the default in 2012 so thats why. I use full IIS normaly, but this is a public demo I've made for one of my open source libraries. No problem to switch to IIS Express

We've recommended IIS express since 1.0. There's tons of things that don't work with the dev.server (like OnDisconnected) so it's better to just stay away from it completely. As for 2.0 we do require the intergrated pipeline to run.
