I have a report containing a set of subreports (VS2010). The first one is the title page, nothing more than a full page image on top of a rectangle to trigger a new page.
I should mention that our primary concern is PDF export of this report.
What I needed to do was position a textbox (with some database output) at a particular position over the image. From my googling, I am aware that this can be a problem.
After some trial and error what I did was put another full page rectangle over the first rectangle and image (the Layout setting), and then put the textbox in that.
This works fine in PDF export but I almost missed it, because in Preview mode, the page looks terrible, with the textbox off to the right of the image.
Am I still doing something wrong or is this normal behavior for the preview mode?

No. Seriously. The image is confidential, at least for now.
