I generally use the telerik rad editor for html input. However, this doesn't render on mobile devices properly.
All I really need to be able to do is store user input but keep track of line breaks. I tried using a text box with textmode=multiline but when I output the data in html it doesn't keep track of the line breaks. If I throw the output in another textbox,
it does, but not with html. I tried doing output.replace("\n", "<br />") but it still doesn't work. I tried all variations too. I.e. \n, \r, \r\n, chr(13), and vbCrLf none of them replace the line breaks with a <br />
So, how would I go about getting input on a mobile device that would allow me to either track the line breaks, or take html input (some sort of editor) to keep the <Br />'s?

Take a look at Environment.NewLine. Here is a good thread...

That does not work either. It still just displays as one line. If I throw the data in a text area, then the line breaks to show up. Any other ideas?

I'll also note that when I inspect the data, the line breaks appear to be there. But I still cannot figure out how to replace them with <br />'s
When I inspect the html in chrome, it looks like below
Although I have tried .replace using Environment.NewLine, Chr(13), vbCrLf, "\r", "\n", and "\r\n"
