If the user wants to know detail of a specific product, he can type the product name directly after the Domain name and get details. For instance, user coming to a site http://DomainName.com
want to know details of Audi A6. He should be able to view simply by typing http://DomainName/A6 or http://DomainName/Audi A6 and get details of particular
product. This is to make the urls friendly and easy for advertisements and to remember. Routing and re-writing requires additional parameters to resolve url based on querystring. How to handle this. Please guide.
http://DomainName/X1/ (should open bmw x1) http://DomainName/X5/ (bmw x5)
i have to configure this in existing asp.net 2.0 site.

This might help
Basically you need to write an http handler (or use the global.asax) that utilises RewritePath
