I hope I will be able to explain my question. I have never done WPF or Silverlight. I have a base image, e.g. an image consists of a dog and a tree at a distance from the dog. I want to be able to crop the dog's ear and/or the bark of the tree and replace
these 2 with another image which is of a different color. I dont not want to change the entire image as the rest of the image remains the same. If I keep replacing the entire image I have require a permutation and combination image of each and every color
which would be rather expensive. Rather I can have the ear and bark with earch color I want separately and reduce the number of combination of images. For instance I have 2 colors for the ear and 2 for the bark, then If I change the entire image I will require
8 different images. Whereas I would require only 4 images, 2 each for the objects and keep replacing them based on the option selected by the user.
Please provide code sample, as mentioned earlier, I have never done graphics.
Thanks in advance. An early response will be appreciated.

In short I think I need code to merge 2 images and adjust the transparancy somehow. It has been implemented by msistone.com. If we click on kitchen visualizer link at the bottom of the home page, we can see that by selecting an different patter, for example
of that of the cabinet, only the cabinets change accordingly. I dont know how they have done it, but I want to implement something similar.
