Hi i am using the HtmlEditorExtendor in my asp.net web application and i am not able to figure out why the Internet Explorer is including the <p> tag on press of enter key in the text box. Due to which style problems are getting created. Another issue is
that the Cut,Copy and Paste icons are not appearing in Chrome and Fire Fox. (Even in the Official Web Site). Is there some work arround for this issue.

I’m glad to you post the issue to asp.net forum. Based on your description, I can reproduce both
The phenomenons of HtmlEditorExtendor.
# Internet Explorer generates <p> tag on press of enter key.
<p> is a block element and it can promise new line. There will be <div> tag in Chrome browser workaround. As we know <div> tag is also block element. Different browser has different mechanism to promise new line.
# Cut,Copy and Paste icons are not appearing in Chrome and Fire Fox.
I can reproduce it. There are some code at around line 532 in HtmlEditorExtenderBehavior.Pre.js file which don’t render these buttons for non-IE browsers.
Firefox and Chrome do not allow web applications to communicate with clipboard for security reasons.
Hope it helps, thanks.
