My company has a WCF service now and I am trying to get people to write tests using .NET.
I added a Service Reference to a deployed WCF service and it generated all the proxy classes and client. However, when I try to call a method on the client, all methods require a "ref ServiceContext" as the first parameter. The service itself does not call
for this parameter. If I add as a Web Reference, I don't get this parameter in the resulting client, only when using a Service Reference.
I've done this before at a different job and don't remember this ever happening. Am I crazy or is this supposed to happen? If not, what are possible reasons I'm getting every function requiring the ServiceContext?

If you are using Data Services .. See this msdn article
You need to add service refrence like following
You can call service without adding reference to the project too
