Not sure this will go anywhere, but I'm at a loss.
The environment is just test and production. I have a .net web application that runs fine locally and runs fine in production. When I attempt to run it in test, I have one page that will not process.
I have a link button on the page that is supposed to insert a record when selected. Again this works fine locally and in production. When selecting the link the page does not even reach the page load event. It appears that it is attempting to postback,
but does not.
The question is where do I even begin to look for an issue? I cannot keep testing in production for obvious reasons and I do not have access to the server. If it runs fine locally there is nothing to debug. I've tried setting messages in the code to see
how far it gets, but like I said it isn't even getting into the page_load.

see the event log of operating system and try to figure out what is the issue. It seems like there is a configuration issue.
1) First check you have selected right version of framework in IIS application pool
2) Still problem there then check the event log where you can get error and then find root of that error.

Is there an error mesage that you see? You may check event log on the server.

Maybe just a cache issue.
Create a new page with different file name and same code. Test on your computer then upload to server and test.

I appreciate the responses. I have tried to recreate the page even so far as to re-write all the html on the page one by one and publishing each segment to see if there was something there. I figured I would need to get to the events on the server. I
do not have access to the server so there's a whole process to do something like and it's tediuos to try to get someone else to do something that only you care about.
