I have just created an enterprise application with signalr. But I have a little challenge. Some of my clients connecting would be android app users. Cos I created a simple mobile app that users can use to connect to the web application. This mobile app
was created with java on eclipse platform. I dont no of any implementation of signalr on that platform. So my challenge I want the application to be able to detect when a client connects with a android app to the application.
This there a way I can do this. considering the fact the android app is not a signalr client. I was tinking I would fall back on low level sockets.
Can signalr detect when non signalr clients are making a low level socket connection to the server.

At the SignalR hub, You can check the Request headers and get the User Agent like below
string s = Context.Request.Headers["User-Agent"];
Hope it helps you..
