The Community Contributor award is not given based on a set number of point awarded in the various forums. Details on the selection/award process are seen in answers A4 and A8 from the article you referenced.
A4. More and more technology users are seeking ideas and solutions for enhancing their technology experience through online resources. Microsoft reviews the contributions of participants who offer their time and energy
to online technical communities such as Microsoft Answers, MSDN and TechNet to identify those who make notable contributions for possible recognition as a Microsoft Community Contributor.
A8. Individuals are considered for the Microsoft Community Contributor badge by Microsoft based on their contributions during the previous three months within Microsoft online technical communities.
A completely unrelated note - but currently these forums are not elligible for the Microsoft Community Contributor Award.
Earlier this year I inquired about it and the response indicated that only forums such as those mbanavige listed (and those
found on the site's recipients list) are elligible.
(I thought it was a bit strange since this forum is incredibly active however it may be due to the fact that some of these aren't directly managed by Microsoft)
Our site members could potentially be eventually eligible for the MCC Award. Unfortunately there has been a lot of churn in that program and while we had started discussions on what it would take to get our site on board, they have stalled. We will hopefully
pick up the discussions in the fall.
As for the original question, no, there are no awards for reaching any point levels on the ASP.NET Forums. The only thing that happens (per
http://www.asp.net/community/recognition) is that your Recognition Level changes from "Participant" to "Contributor".
When you reach 2000 Points in Asp.net Forums are you rewarded with Award?
Yes You will be rewarded but in a very different way.. Your reward will be lots of learning..
Apart from this Your recognition level is changed to Contributor as you reach 2001 points. Regarding the link you have posted it is out of the scope of any point and recognition system as MCC is awarded based upon the activity by a Person in online communities
like MSDN and technet etc. which is beneficial to other users.
Today I get completely one year membership in this forum. I feel happy because i can help others with my limited knowledge in programming. In my first year membership, i get 37300+ point with 2249 problems solved (not all by me). May I get rewarded with award?

Reawarded? What award are you talking about? There is no award given just for points. MVP award and MCC award are given based on many aspects, not just points. Remeber it's not only the quantity which matters. Those awards look for the quality of the posts
too. The below thread describes what you need for both awards.
