Mobile Application development are two types - Web Application and App Store(Thick App, which can be installed on device).
To get started with ASP.NET Mobile web app development -
Thick Apps - You have to develop separately for each platform - Apple iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry. You may have to download their respective SDK's to develop their apps!
