I'm facing a big problem with oracle transactions. I'm using c#.net OracleTransaction object but i can't find the suitable IsolationLevel to, in the transaction context see the delete/update/insert operations before commit it. For example, I would like to:
1) Start Transaction
2) Delete one record from one table
3) Make a select statement for that record that return null
4) Insert the same record
5) Commit the Transaction
I believe that for .net OracleTransaction object, the required isolationlevel to do this is
ReadUncommitted, but as far a i can understand this is not available on oracle... If i try this isolationlevel i'll get an exception and the transaction will not be initialized.
Does anyone know how can i accomplish this kind of transaction operations ??
Thanks in advance ;)
