I was looking over the leaderboard today and was overwhelmed at the number of MVP tags that appear near almost everyone's name (including my own).
I had thought that these indicated Microsoft MVPs (which is why my name surprised me), however after continuing to look over them I noticed that those that I know for a fact are MVPs such as ignatandrei, mikesdotnettings and XIII (Kris) didn't have
the tag :
I didn't know if there was some possible maintenence going on or if this indicator was different than I originally imagined.

That's their purpose. It looks like the display logic is reversed on the page you referenced so non MVP's are getting the badge while MVPs are missing the badge.

Thanks for the report! We deployed some forums updates today to addrss other issues, and it looks like we introduced a new bug. This is now logged and we'll work to correct it.

This should be fixed now.

I thought it looked a bit out of the ordinary, but was a bit unsure as I know that some of the members on here are actually MVPs but do not have the tag (such as Ruchira and ramiramilu) but I suppose they have to notify someone on the forum of this
to get the proper tag?

They should work with Dora Chan (https://twitter.com/DoraSChan), or if they are not in the Americas their lead should work with Dora Chan.

Alright - I was just curious as I know of quite a few members on here that are MVPs but didn't have the tag. I was just curious :)
(Hopefully that helps them out as well)
